I've been using my Extreme Max Wide Motorcycle Scissor Jack to support the engine as I worked on the top end of my land speed racer (AKA the little Hot Rod). I've used it before for other things and have also thought it was an important and needed item in the garage, but it came in very handy for this particular project.
It's not the sexiest tool in the garage, but sometimes it's the simple tools, that just quietly do their jobs, that often get overlooked. It will support 1,100 lbs., which is more than enough for any project I would be using it for.
It's well made, easy to use, and convenient for a number of jobs on the lift (which is probably why I have two of them). I can't think of a better endorsement than that.
